When I was growing up, my grandparents had a cabin on Lake Winnipesaukee. So many happy memories.  Two years ago, I brought my husband up to see my beloved New Hampshire. We rented the boathouse on Lake Kanasatka and spent the whole time on the porch looking out over the lake and watching the loons. We had never talked about retirement before that, but that trip we spent a lot of time making plans. Two years later, we moved to Wolfeboro and never looked back.

Our decision to retire to New Hampshire started with our wonderful time on Lake Kanasatka. We were so impressed by the natural beauty, and by the commitment to environmental preservation. The lake was closed for cyanobacteria the week we were there, and that introduced us to the issue. We actually wrote legislators while we were there, and we continue to be activists over here on Lake Winni.
Keep up the good work my friends!
